Why a Sovranty Bengal kitten:

• For more than 8 years, Sovranty has owned/bred Bengals, and developed a fine reputation for ethics, honesty and over all being reputable, responsible representatives for the Bengal breed.  Our clients include those in the veterinarian and medical fields, as well as multi-pet homes, and homes with children.

• Our kittens are not only bred for exotic Bengal type, we breed for temperament, and insure socialization by raising kittens in-home, and working with different personalities to insure your kitten is not wild/timid, but confident, and we even try to instill some training (such as no getting on the counters :-).  Breeding for genetic good health is equally important, and we have strict standards for this.

• •Our kittens come to you having had at least 2 necessary vaccinations, preventative deworming, and defleaing, and will have had high quality veterinary health checkups.  Our cattery has an excellent reputation for health, we work very hard to preserve high sanitary standards.

• Sovranty Bengal kittens are placed with a health contract.  We are a FeLV/FIV free cattery, and test for such frequently though we have never had an incident of either.   Nor have we had on premise, or reports of any congenital/genetic disease.

• •We are a State Licensed cattery and are inspected by the State, as well as veterinarian, for cleanliness, health standards, and overall condition of cattery and cats.

• •All Sovranty cats and kittens are registered with TICA (The International Cat Association), and thus, certified pedigrees are available from TICA for those who wish to verify, or have an interest in bloodlines.

• Our breeding program incorporates a detailed and specific program of many champion and very well known, established bloodlines from catteries such as Aluren, Calcatta, Gogees, Kingsmark and Pleasant Pond to name a few.

• Our Bengal cats and kittens are fed a very high quality diet, that while costing a bit more, insures lovely coats, balanced nutrients, and excellent bone growth.

• While there are thousands of microscopic organisms in the world environments that can attach themselves to young pets, we try to eliminate ourselves being a "link in the chain" for some of the common ones by routine disinfection, scheduled deworming, high quality foods, and last but not least, the use of water purification and/or distilled water only for the cats and kittens.

• Purchase of a very young Bengal from Sovranty is made more enjoyable for you, the client, by providing weekly photos of your kitten along with updates, so that you may share in your kitten's growth and progress until you kitten comes home to you.

• Sovranty does ship kittens by air at client request.  Many client's ask "what does the kitten do during his or her flight"?  From what we gather, the same thing I do...Sleep :-)  To help with the high fuel prices, Sovanty will deliver within one hour locally, and does not charge a "trip charge" for airport delivery.

• Prior to owning and breeding Bengal cats, we rescued homeless cats here on our 22 acre farm.  We also currently breed Egyptian Arabian horses.   We have been involved with animals all our lives, and have extensive experience in many phases of breeding, welfare and training.

• Sovranty Bengal kittens are all Bengal to Bengal breeding, and are beyond F-4 (wild, filial) generation unless clearly stated otherwise.
